SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are out of contention for a playoff spot while Rajasthan Royals (RR) still have a fair chance of making it. SRH have had a dismal season thus far, recording just two points in 9 matches and look already set to finish bottom of the table.

It could mean that, with the pressure completely off, one could see a raft of changes in SRH as they look towards the future, or even decide to try out some of the players who are going to be involved in the T20 World Cup later this year and are yet to play a role for them. This could mean that we might see England opener Jason Roy at the top of the order. On the basis of form, it could be the struggling David Warner who makes way but at the same time, SRH might opt to bench Wriddhiman Saha considering Warner’s past record and stature.

Either Virat Singh or Abhishek Sharma could replace the struggling Kedar Jadhav in the middle order.

Meanwhile, RR raised a lot of eyebrows by benching Evin Lewis and Chris Morris in their previous match against Delhi Capitals. Considering their batting order failed to chase down 155 in that match by 33 runs, RR could slot the two players right back into the playing XI if they are fit.

RR predicted 11: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Liam Livingstone, Sanju Samson (captain & wicketkeeper), Evin Lewis, Mahipal Lomror, Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Kartik Tyagi, Chetan Sakariya, Mustafizur Rahman.
