Realme has launched the much-awaited Realme 9 Pro smartphone in India. The smartphone arrives with various attractive specs and features. The smartphone might launch very soon in Nepal. Realme 9 Pro Overview

Realme 9 Pro is the successor to the Realme 8 Pro that was launched last year. The phone launched alongside its sibling Realme 9 Pro Plus. The smartphone arrives with spectacular specs like a 120Hz display, snapdragon 695 5G SoC, 16 MP selfie camera, 5000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and more. 

Design/Display

Taking off with the design of the Realme 9 Pro, the smartphone comes with an all-new Light Shift Design that changes color from light blue to red when exposed to sunlight. The Realme 9 Pro is very thin at just 8.5 mm and weighs just only 195 grams. It also has a punch-hole cutout at the front that houses the selfie camera. The smartphone comes in different color variants such as Sunrise Blue, Midnight Black, and Aurora Green.

The Realme 9 Pro flexes an enormous 6.6 inches Full HD+ IPS LCD Display panel along with a screen resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. It also comes with a support of a higher 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, an aspect ratio of 20-9, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, and 400 PPI density. The phone comes with six different refresh rates. For biometrics, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Ai Face Unlock.

Camera  

As for the optical features of the smartphone, the phone arrives with a triple camera setup at the rear.  The Realme 9 Pro sports a 64 MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8 MP Ultra-wide-angle camera with 119° Field Of View & f/1.2 aperture, and a 2 MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. Whereas on the front, the Realme 9 Pro houses a 16MP In-display Selfie camera with f/2.05 aperture to snap gorgeous selfies. 

Moving on to the videography aspect of the smartphone, the rear cameras are capable of recording videos up to [email protected] Likewise, the front camera also records videos up to [email protected] The smartphone comes with various camera features such as Night Mode, Panoramic view, Expert, Portrait Mode, HDR, Ultra-wide, AI Scene Recognition, AI Beauty, Filter, Bokeh Effect Control, Starry Mode, etc.

Snapdragon 695 5G SoC

Under the hood, the Realme 9 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor which also runs phones like Redmi Note 11 Pro, & the Vivo T1 5G. It is an octa-core processor based on 6 nm processing technology that is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz. As for graphics, it has a powerful Adreno 619 GPU. It has up to 402,916 Antutu Benchmarks and 30 % faster GPU performance.

In terms of the memory configuration, the device is coupled with a 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage options onboard. The Realme 9 Pro can expand up to 5GB RAM with Dynamic RAM Expansion technology.  On the software front, the Realme 9 Pro runs on Realme UI 3.0 Based on Android 12 OS. It also features a liquid cooling system to keep the phone from overheating.  

Battery and Connectivity

Talking about the battery prowess of the smartphone, the Realme 9 Pro comes backed up by a massive Non-removable, 5,000mAh (typ) capacity battery. The smartphone also comes with a 33 W fast charging support. It has a USB Type-C 2.0 to charge the device.

Realme 9 Pro Availability And Price In Nepal

The Realme 9 Pro is launched at the price of INR 17,999 for the base variant 6GB/128GB, and INR 20,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant in India. The smartphone will be made available for purchase starting from February 23 rd in India. It is available in various color options like Midnight Black, Aurora Green, Sunrise Blue. The Realme 9 Pro is expected to be priced around Rs. 30,999 for the base variant in Nepal. The smartphone will compete with other mid-range smartphones in Nepal.
