NEET Counselling 2021 News: The NEET PG Counselling 2021 for 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats of all states except J&K, 100% seats of Central Universities, and 100% seats of Deemed University has been postponed abruptly, according to official sources.
“PG counselling 2021 has been postponed till further orders,” an official statement on the MCC website states. Online NEET PG counselling 2021 will be made available soon.
NEET PG Counselling 2021 was to be conducted today by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) alongside the NEET PG Registration 2021. Candidates who have qualified the NEET PG 2021 entrance exam can register online on the official MCC website mcc.nic.in
Two rounds of NEET PG 2021 counselling are to be held, followed by mop-up and stray vacancy rounds.
As per the official schedule, the NEET PG Counselling 2021 Round 1 and NEET PG Registration 2021 along with the fee payment starts on October 25, 2021 and ends on October 29, 2021. However, the window for choice filling/locking the desired seats will commence from tomorrow i.e. October 26, 2021 and end on October 29, 2021 by 11-55 pm.
The verification of internal candidates by the respective institutes will commence on October 30, 2021 and end on October 31, 2021 with seat processing allotment scheduled on November 1, 2021 and November 2, 2021.
The results of PG Medical seat allotment will be declared on November 3, 2021 following which candidates selected are required to report for admission at designated institutes over a period of seven days – from November 4, 2021 and November 10, 2021.
Registration for NEET 2021 PG Counselling Round 2 will commence from November 15, 2021, and will be followed by a mop-up and stray vacancy rounds
What Is NEET PG?
NEET PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admissions into the postgraduate programs such as MD/MS and PG Diploma courses across India as per Section (10) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. While, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is entrusted with conducting the exam, and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting NEET PG medical counselling for allotting the 50 per cent AIQ seats, 100% seats of Central Universities, and 100% seats of Deemed University with the States having their own counselling agencies to complete the NEET PG medical counselling process.
