The Korean Cultural Centre in collaboration with the Mystery of the Gift Foundation called Mystery of the Gift Music Recital on 7th November, 2015 at it’s auditorium. A two hour long performance, the recital featured 14 young musicians with a performance of 16 musical piece, attended by 135 guests. The name of the performers are Ungrumso Raman, Phungphangam Raikhan, Jacinth Mungvah , NGaraicha Konghay , Thingchonphi Vashum, Shairin Konghay, Nimthemrei Luikham, Jiyun Jeong, Thothanphy Khariwo, Worchui Chithung, and Nymphea Noronha. The recital also featured 3 guest artist. Horchuila Langyza, winner of Dream Project (KCC), Sparsh Bajpai, winner of KPop India performed the Vocal pieces, a Vocal Solo each and a Duet. Jedidah Shimray appeared for piano accompaniment for most of the pieces.
Mystery of the Gift Foundation is a fresh and exclusive musical foundation that aims to promote and provide a performing opportunity to talented musicians across all genres, mindless of caste or creed. They also focus on imparting music education to young children, passionate musicians, so as to create greater awareness and appreciation in understanding classical music as a career option. As a part of their initiative, Mystery of the Gift Foundation has pledged to sponsor less privileged children a free music education from scratch till they are professionally well trained.
In the end, the founders of the Mystery of the Gift Foundation gave their special thanks to the Korean Cultural Centre for the immense support and Institute of Music Dynamics for their help in printing work as well. Along with special thanks, they gave our flower bouquets to the performers, their guardians, founder of New Life India and the director of Korean Cultural Centre. Kim Kum Pyoung, Director of Korean Cultural Centre also thanked the foundation for the excellent performance and the initiative.
