Mumbai: Bollywood’s actor Sanjay Dutt has time and again raked controversy over his several furloughs from Mumbai jail. However, now it will become difficult for the actor to take further releases from the jail.
According to reports, the state home department is all set to amend furlough rules so that prison officials are unable to use discretionary powers.
Home and law departments, principal secretary (prisons) Vijay Satbir Singh on Monday confirmed to a newspaper that the government will extend 14 days furlough a year case by another 14 days depending on the report of law enforcing agencies.
