30 October 2015,New Delhi. Union Minister and senior BJP leader Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that the “syndicate of corruption and bad-governance” in Bihar has been trying to hide their “stain of corruption” through “chaos of communalism”. Speaking to media persons after meeting with the Election Commission, Shri Naqvi said that RJD president Shri Lalu Yadav and Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar have been making provocative and personal statements against BJP leaders to communally polarize the situation in the Assembly polls.
Shri Naqvi said that this “syndicate of corruption and bad-governance” is depressed due to their definite defeat and it is “attacking the nationalists while lauding the anarchy”.
Shri Naqvi said by calling the attack against Pakistan’s terrorism as an attack on secularism, some people have crossed all the limits of “political bankruptcy”.
A BJP delegation today met the Chief Election Commissioner of India and other two Election Commissioners here and filed a complaint against conspiracy by the Congress-RJD-JD(U) to disturb communal harmony in Bihar Assembly elections.
The BJP delegation, led by Shri Naqvi, also submitted an memorandum to the Election Commission and said the Congress-RJD-JD(U) have been engaged in a conspiracy to disturb communal harmony in the state by making provocative and derogatory statements against BJP leaders. The BJP delegation said that, yesterday Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had said, “the BJP wants to get votes by making Hindu and Muslims fight against each other”.
Shri Naqvi said that statements of Shri Lalu Yadav against Shri Amit Shah that “man-eater has become mad”, calling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi “brahma-pishach” are highly condemnable and such statements violate model election code of conduct and provisions of the Representation of the People Act.
Shri Naqvi said that the BJP delegation urged the Election Commission to take strict action against leaders of the RJD-JD(U)-Congress to ensure free and fair Assembly elections in Bihar.
Shri Naqvi said that leaders of the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ are making such statements only to divert the development agenda in the polls. But the people of Bihar will not be influenced by these people. The people of the state have made their mind to remove this ‘Mahagathbandhan’, which is a “syndicate of corruption and bad-governance”.
The BJP delegation also included BJP national general secretary Shri Arun Singh, party national spokespersons Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi and Shri Sambit Patra and party national secretary Shri Siddharth Nath Singh.
