“Development not at the cost of human existence” says Shivraj Singh

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan watched premiere show of film on Bhopal gas tragedy “Bhopal – A Prayer for Rain” here today. After watching the film at Ashima Cinepolis, he said that Bhopal gas tragedy-like disaster should not occur in any city of the world. He said that it has been decided to exempt the film from tax in Madhya Pradesh. Shri Chouhan said that development should not be made at the cost of human existence. Describing the film as sensitive, he lauded its directorial team and actors.

The film has been directed by Shri Ravi Kumar and produced by Ravi Walia. The screenplay has been written by Ravi Kumar and David Brooks. Martin Sean, Mishka Burton, Carl Payne, Rajpal Yadav, Tanishthha Chatterjee, Fagun Thakral, Vineet Kumar, Lila Dhawan have acted excellently in the film. The film is being released in India on December 5. It has been released in America on November 7. Members of the cabinet and film actors were present at the international premiere of the film.
