A source says, “He had initially agreed to be part of the January 26 celebrations, but now since he is expected to attend some promotional events for his upcoming film ‘Shamitabh’, he may not be able to fly to Delhi and meet the American President.”
It is said that the promotional plan was drawn much after Sr Bachchan received the Republic Day event invite and will not able to adjust his dates.
Another source says, “He has already started the promotions. Even though he will be in India on January 26, it will be practically impossible for him to fly in and out of town in a day.”
